" It's a good idea, when you got 14 or so records behind you, to go back and cull the favorite songs, as well as the ones that nobody really picked up on, and take another shot at them. In the studio, you're not always in control of the process, so it was a great thing to be able to do the (Live) album, and the enhanced edition of it is really hip, giving people something extra. These last 12 years of my life are like the difference between before the Civil war and after the Civil War. This is my antebellum period. i got a chance to work these songs out more in peace, and I took it. " James Taylor
